Excellent new Blogger site has been released. Not only a better looking site, but many enhancements to the service, including:

  • Post by email
  • Built-in commenting
  • Many new, well designed, CSS (compliant) templates by great designers (Zeldman, Doug Bowman, etc)
  • Blog “profile” page
  • Individual entry archives with permalinks
  • Conditional tags for template construction

Of course this happens just a few weeks after my step-by-step “how-to” for faculty, but that’s a small price to pay for greatly enhanced services.

I hope they’ve addressed some of the Blogspot reliability problems as well…
