A fascinating project in information and visualization, the We Feel Fine site scrapes the internet constantly looking for phrases like “I feel” and “I am feeling” and than working with a large classification database and some language parsing, feeds into the application visualization you can see below. It’s almost a virtual Found except the scraps that are being found are mined real-time from the net.
I feel all webgiddy.

My website http://www.my1hope.com was originally designed for people throughout the world to share hopeful words–however, women started posting things of concern and before I realized what was happening, it became a place where women could share words of encouragement. The site is 60-days old… and thousands of people (mostly women) have posted words of encouragement that range from… Domestic Abuse (Physical, Sexual, and Mental) to struggles of being molested/raped as a child… Long story short it is a place of hope… or a vessel to reach others and let them know they are not alone…in their struggle.
